I am just wondering if there is any other capable leader in Iriga that is not surnamed ALFELOR..
I noticed kasi na in every sensitive positon in Iriga agko Alfelor. Agko sa Water District, Sa Casureco, sa Sanggunian, Sa SK....This coming election, former mayor Manny Alfelor running for Congressman and Congressman Nancing running for Governor. The problem I have with this situation is uda na check and balance. Bagana ana Iriga sadiri na sa uusad sanang pamilya. Although it is not their fault it us the voters who put them in their position
Agko pa man gayod kamo ising taga-iriga na pwedeng magin leader. I'm not saying that the Alfelors are not capable (although few of them are not like the Alfelors in the City Council)
I even support our current mayor, Mayor Gazmen (except for her husband). The only Issue I have with her is that , her husband owns a construction company that corners most of the government projects in Iriga. We all know that it is a conflict of interest and very much illegal.
However, Mayor Gazmen had shown to Iriguenos that she is very capable mayor.
somebody should look into the rampant jueteng operation and illegal quarrying sadi iriga...ana sabi-sabi ana agom ni mayora ana pasimuno.....

ReplyDeletesad, sad, ....nothing against the more qualified alfelors but common some of them are jokes....i heard the namesake of the former mayor, manny jr., wanted to run for vice-mayor?....what is his accomplishments as a councilor?.....it's just a matter of time, he will run for vice-mayor then eventually mayor!!!!! shall i say,,,, run, take cover and be man to say it's be embarassing to be an Irigueno!!!!

ReplyDeletejust been to iriga first week of May, the poor people are still poor, healthcare is virtually non-existent, farmers are left to fend for themselves, absolute absence of livelihood opportunites. Perhaps Salceda was right in proclaiming Bicol as the tambay capital. in every nook and corner, throngs of jobless youth and otherwise abound. I can offer one word to blame: DYNASTY. Do something about this fellow Rinconadas.
ReplyDeleteI still go for the ALFELOR's..y? let's compare SAL FORTUNO and MANNY ALFELOR for example..SAL has been a congressman and Vice-governor but what major accomplishment does he had? nothing..only those cozy waiting sheds and short distance road concreting which can be handled by d local government while Manny Alfelor has made Iriga one of the top 3 cleanest and greenest city in the philippines and brought successive projects to iriga during his term..he had a school were more than half of the students are scholars.. so if not ALFELORS then who will?
